Purpose

Contract variation and extension for Adults' home care, children's care at home, and reablement

Decision

That: 

1. The variation and extension of the contracts listed in paragraphs 2-5 for Adults Home Care, Children’s Care at Home and Reablement for a period of six months from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 at a combined estimated six-month value of £14,024,536, with an optional further extension period of up to and including six-months until 30 September 2027 and a total estimated twelve-month value of £28,049,071 inclusive of the extension, be approved.
2. The following the variation and extension of the following Adults’ Home Care (core) contracts, be approved:

·  London Care Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £3,215,477 and estimated 12-month value of £6,430,954.

  i.  Lot 1 - Estimated £1,385,871 six-month value and £2,771,741 twelve-month value for Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.

  ii.  Lot 5 - Estimated £1,829,606 six-month value and £3,659,213  twelve-month value for Camberwell and Peckham.

·  Medacs Healthcare Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £1,498,758 and estimated 12-month value of £2,997,515.

  i.  Lot 4 - Estimated £785,349 six-month value and £1,570,698 twelve-month value for Walworth, Dulwich and Blackfriars.

  ii.  Lot 8 - Estimated £713,409 six-month value and £1,426,817 twelve-month value for Camberwell and Peckham.

·  Sage Care Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £2,064,100 and estimated 12-month value of £4,128,200.

  i.  Lot 2 - Estimated £668,768 six-month value and £1,337,537 twelve-month value for Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.

  ii.  Lot 6 - Estimated £1,395,332 six-month value and £2,790,663 twelve-month value for Camberwell and Peckham.

·  Supreme Care Services Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £3,461,020 and estimated 12-month value of £6,922,040.

  i.  Lot 3 - Estimated £2,107,761 six-month value and £4,215,522 twelve-month value for Walworth and Blackfriars.

  ii.  Lot -7 Estimated £1,353,259 six-month value and £2,706,518 twelve-month value for Camberwell and Peckham.

1. The following variation and extension of the following Adults’ Home Care (supplementary) contracts, be approved:

·  MiHomecare Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £1,127,422 and estimated 12-month value of £2,254,843 (Lot 2.1 – South (Camberwell, Peckham and Dulwich)).

·  Care Outlook Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £298,440 and estimated 12-month value of £596,880 (Lot 2.2 – South(Camberwell, Peckham and Dulwich)).

·  Carepoint Services Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £191,758 and estimated 12-month value of £383,516 (Lot 1.3 – North (Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Walworth and Blackfriars)).

·  Unique Personnel (UK) Ltd, at an estimated six-month value of £1,014,299 and estimated 12-month value of £2,028,599 (Lot 1.1 – North (Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Walworth and Blackfriars)).

1. The following variation and extension of the following Children’s Care at Home contracts, be approved:

·  De Vere Care Partnership, at an estimated six-month value of £5,000 and estimated 12-month value of £10,000.

·  Supreme Care Services Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £74,925 and estimated 12-month value of £149,850.

·  Unique Personnel (UK) Ltd, at an estimated six-month value of £223,092 and estimated 12-month value of £446,184.

1. The following variation and extension of the following Reablement contract, moving to a cost-and-volume payment model rather than a block contract, as outlined in paragraph 15 of the report, be approve:

·  MiHomecare Limited, at an estimated six-month value of £849,899 and estimated 12-month value of £1,699,799.

1. The Executive delegates the decision to exercise the additional (up to and including) six-month extension option to the Strategic Director of Children and Adult Services.
