The Executive Member for Inclusive Economy, Equalities and Democracy approved the award of £18,842 for the Southwark Pioneers Fund (SPF) Grow Your Enterprise grants (Round 5) to four organisations. The decision was made on 18 August 2026. The approved grants will fund equipment purchases, business expansion, and food trailer acquisitions for businesses in the food and beverage sector.

The Executive Member for Council Homes approved the payment of £32,056 in Getting Involved Grants (GIG) to eight organisations on 27 July 2026. The Strategic Director of Environment, Sustainability and Leisure approved the award of a contract to Baystar Ltd for up to £908,717 (excluding VAT) for decarbonisation capital works at Surrey Docks Fitness and Watersports Centre on 1 July 2026. This includes the removal of the existing gas-fired heating system and the provision of low-carbon energy systems. The decision was made to meet the council's target of reducing operational emissions by 50% by 2026.

The Executive Member for Inclusive Economy, Equalities and Democracy approved the award of £14,500 of grant funding from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) allocation for one project as part of the Thriving High Streets Round 3 on 7 August 2026.
