About
The Standards Committee is responsible for overseeing and promoting high standards of conduct among Spelthorne councillors. It reviews and amends arrangements for handling complaints made under the code of conduct, and develops procedures for managing these complaints. The committee also advises the full Council on revisions to the Members' Code of Conduct and rules for declaring interests. Additionally, it manages a programme for councillor development.
