Staffordshire Sustainability Board (Public)

The Staffordshire Sustainability Board, established in January 2022, brings together elected members from Staffordshire councils to discuss environmental and sustainability issues. It aims to influence change and encourage organisations and individuals to achieve net carbon zero by 2050 across Staffordshire. The Board facilitates collaborative projects, deciding outcomes and objectives. Since January 2023, it has merged with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Joint Waste Management Board to enhance the effectiveness of directing and monitoring the sustainability agenda, making recommendations to the Staffordshire Leaders Board.
