Planning permission has been granted to
deliver 78 new homes within the catchment of St Mary’s CE
(VA) School, Mucklestone. SCC have secured a S106 education
contribution in a sealed S106 Agreement, which includes a condition
to utilise the funding to provide an additional classroom at the
school. We have now received the S106 education funding.
Approval is sought for the passporting of this funding to the
Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education (LDBE) to enable them to
deliver the project to provide the additional classroom at the
school.
The S106 education funds are £164,306 and a Grant Funding
Agreement has been completed by SCC’s legal team to ensure
that all legal implications of the project are adhered to,
including appropriate approvals. Legal Fees of up to £6,000
will be deducted from £164,306 before transfer to LDBE.
SCC will not be contributing further to the project.
