Purpose

The report provides an in-year overview of
performance across Community Learning and the opportunity to
consult on the Accountability Statement which lays out priorities
and targets for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Accountability
Statement forms the basis of the Council's Adult Skills Fund grant
agreement with the Department for Education (DfE). It is a funding
requirement to seek approval from Cabinet and submit the
Accountability Statement to the DfE by the 30th June 2025 for
funding to be released to the Council.
