Purpose

Cabinet is asked to approve an evidence-led approach to managing Staffordshire County Council’s supported bus network. The decision will ensure that available Bus Grant funding is allocated transparently, consistently and effectively, and that supported bus services deliver the greatest overall benefit for residents within the funding available. Approval will provide a clear basis for implementing the proposed network changes, considering future requests for support, and managing risks linked to commercial service viability, tender prices and changing passenger demand.
