There was no urgent Part I Business.
 
At this juncture, the Leader, Councillor
Richard Henry, spoke of former Councillor Anne Wells’
decision to stand down from the Council due to ill health
reasons.  Councillor Henry thanked Anne
for all her work on behalf of the residents of Stevenage and in
particular the Roebuck Ward and wished Anne well for the
future.
 
The Leader then referred to Councillor Mason
Humberstone’s decision to leave the Labour Group and join
another political party.
