About

The Stockport Health & Wellbeing Board provides strategic leadership for commissioning health and social care services in the borough, bringing together representatives from the Council, Clinical Commissioning Group, Health Watch, and key statutory officers. Its role is to improve residents' health and wellbeing through collaboration and by promoting integrated health and care services. The Board leads on developing a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, aiming to reduce inequalities and improve the availability, delivery, and value of local health and care services. It also responds to consultations from partner organisations on commissioning plans.
