About

The Schools Forum acts in an advisory capacity to the Council's Executive on matters relating to school funding. It provides recommendations on proposed changes to the funding formula and significant contracts for school supplies or services. Annually, it advises on the schools budget, covering areas such as special education needs, pupil referral units, early years education, insurance, financing schemes, central government grants, and school meals. The Forum also offers advice on any other school funding issues the authority deems relevant.
