Purpose

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and
Accountancy Code of Practice (CIPFA) for Treasury Management
recommends that members be updated on treasury management
activities regularly (annual, mid-year and quarterly reports). This
report therefore ensures this council is implementing best practice
in accordance with the Code.

Decision

The Cabinet has
considered a report providing a comprehensive review of the
council’s treasury management activities and financial
performance for quarter 3 of the 2025/26 financial year and has
agreed to note the report, the treasury activity and give approval
to the changes to the prudential indicators.
