The Stepping Hill Area Committee decided on 10 March 2026 to approve a £3,000 contribution for a new swing barrier at Woodsmoor Playing Field and a £6,500 contribution for site security works at Chester Road Playing Field. The decision included replacing the existing barrier at Woodsmoor Playing Field with a heavy duty steel swing barrier and strengthening the boundary at Chester Road Playing Field with large boulders.
