The Cabinet, Council Meeting decided to approve the 2026/27 Treasury Management Strategy, Annual Investment Strategy, and Minimum Revenue Provision Policy on 30 January 2024. This decision was made to ensure robust financial governance and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy's Treasury Management Code of Practice. The approval includes the Minimum Revenue Provision Policy, Capital Expenditure forecasts, Capital Financing Requirement projections, Treasury Management Strategy, Treasury and Prudential Indicators, and the Annual Investment Strategy for 2026/27.

The Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee decided to grant approval for the Plant Hunters Fair to be held in Bramhall Park on 17 April 2024. This approval is subject to the event organiser providing necessary paperwork, licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a traffic management plan, and payment of agreed fees and charges at least two weeks prior to the event. The event will be ticketed with an entry fee of £2.

The Cabinet decided to note the 2023/24 Quarter 3 budget monitoring update. This included noting the cash limit and non-cash limit forecast outturn positions, the Dedicated Schools Grant, Housing Revenue Account, Collection Fund forecast outturn positions, updates on Reserves, and the forecast position for the 2023/24 Capital Programme. The Cabinet also noted changes to the Capital Programme and re-phasing of schemes during Quarter 3, and the 2023/24 Capital Programme Prudential Indicators.
