Decision

At its meeting on 23 January 2023, the Heatons & Reddish Area Committee gave approval to the introduction of a number of measures to improve road safety around All Saints Primary School, Heaton Norris, including the advertisement of a package of associated traffic regulation orders.

Following the publication of the decision, it has become apparent that there was an anomaly in the ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ schedule relating to Bardsley Street and an incorrect item measurement on Lloyd Street. This, if not rectified, could lead to difficulties in enforcement as well as in the mapping of the orders on the Council’s systems.

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services, following consultation with ward councillors, has given approval to the revocation of the original traffic regulation orders, and to the advertisement of the following revised package of traffic regulation orders and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders:-

Extent Lloyd Street (Eastern Side) From a point 18m north of the intersection of the northern kerbline of Colin Road to a point 8m south of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Colin Road.

Colin Road (Both Sides) From the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Lloyd Street for a distance of 8m in an easterly direction.

Lloyd Street (Eastern Side) From a point 4m north of the intersection of the northern kerbline of Bardsley Street to a point 6m south of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Bardsley Street.

Bardsley Street (Northern Side) From the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Lloyd Street for a distance of 13.5m in an easterly direction.

Bardsley Street (Northern Side) From the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Lloyd Street for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction.
