The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has considered a number of objections received in relation to the proposed introduction of a 20mph Zone Speed Limit Order (SLO) within the Parkway Estate, Cheadle Heath area and has agreed that, notwithstanding the objections, the order be made as advertised.

The Cheadle Area Committee considered the report at its meeting on 16 June 2026 and agreed with the proposed recommendation.

The alternatives to the proposals laid out within this report would significantly impact the delivery of the scheme.
