Decision

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has given approval to the legal advertisement of the package of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated revocations as detailed in Appendix A to the report and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of up to £2,800 to be funded from the Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall South and Woodford ward allocation).

The Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee considered the proposals at its meeting on 18 June 2026 and agreed that the recommendations should be adopted.

Alternative options considered

The alternative solutions considered and consulted on were:

·         The remove the existing restriction in its entirety.

·         Introduce a No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow line) restriction.

·         Introduce a No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm (single yellow line) restriction
