Decision

The Area Committee has given approval that no further action be taken following the desk-top study of the parking availability on Brindley Avenue, Marple following the receipt of a petition from residents requesting a Resident Permit Scheme on the grounds that:

(i)             the initial criteria of 51% of households being in agreement was not met; and

(ii)            the width of Brindley Avenue does not meet the required 6.7m, both criteria points are detailed within the Resident Permit Scheme policy.
