The Stepping Hill Area Committee approved the provision and installation of four benches at Torkington Park on 08 September 2026. This decision included three backless benches for the tennis courts and one standard bench with a hard base for the skate park, at an estimated total cost of £4,400. Funding will be allocated from the Area Committee's Delegated Budget for the Hazel Grove ward.
