Decision

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has approved the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order on Marple Road (including Hall Pool Drive and Old Hall Drive) and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the orders be made:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Marple Road - North Side

From the Western kerb line of Hall Pool Drive for a distance of 113 metres in a Westerly direction.

From the Eastern kerb line of Hall Pool Drive for a distance of 52 metres in an Easterly direction.

Marple Road – South Side

From the Western kerb line of Old Hall Drive for a distance of 156 metres in an Easterly direction.

From the Eastern kerb line of Old Hall Drive for a distance of 83 metres in an Easterly direction.

Hall Pool Drive

Both sides from the Northern kerb line of Marple Road for a distance of 30 metres in a Northerly direction (to tie-in with the aforementioned).

Old Hall Drive

Both sides from the Southern kerb line of Marple Road for a distance of 10 metres in a Southerly direction (to tie-in with the aforementioned).

Alternative options considered

To leave this part of Marple Road unrestricted would have an adverse impact on road safety and traffic management.
