Purpose

Regular update report to Cabinet

Decision

Agreed - That Cabinet, as the responsible body in its social landlord role for the management, delivery and compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s regulatory standards:

·         Notes the outcome of the council’s first routine inspection by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), including areas identified for improvement and next steps.

·         Notes positive examples of tenant involvement shaping our housing services, as well as service performance against key performance indicators, details relating to complaints handling, and key risks and mitigations.

·         Notes developments across the housing sector, through government consultations and announcements.

·         Notes Tenant Satisfaction Measure (TSM) results for 25/26, including key areas on which to focus continued improvement work.

·         Notes and reviews the content of this report, determining whether it is content that sufficient information and assurances have been provided to it in respect of the council’s compliance as a social housing provider within the requirements of the regulatory standards.
