Employment Committee

The role of the Committee is to undertake functions relating to employment matters such as appointing chief officers, overseeing matters of discipline or competence in respect of chief officers, reviewing organisational structure where the changes involve compulsory redundancies and considering the overall staffing establishment figures twice a year for the purposes of strategic planning.   Further information on the Employment Committee can be found under the Terms of Reference for the Committee (part 3 of the Council’s Constitution -
