The Constitution committee is responsible for overseeing the rules and procedures that govern how Stratford-on-Avon District Council makes decisions and operates. This includes ensuring that decision-making processes are effective and efficient.

The Constitution document, which is regularly reviewed, sets out the detailed rules regarding how the Council makes its decisions and who is responsible for implementing them. It was introduced following new political management arrangements in 2002.
