Proposed renewal licence of access across land at Oaktree Close Moreton Morrell
March 14, 2025 Deputy Chief Executive (Officer) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Decision
That the Council will grant a new licence from 11.07.25 to 10.07.2030.
Reasons for the decision
The land is an open space and at the edge there is a current access licence to a residential property. The licencee would like to take a further licence. The proposed licence fee is as the current at a peppercorn. The reasoning behind this nominal fee is to ensure that a licence is in place which ensures no unauthorised access across the land takes place, therefore protecting the Council’s interests.
The Council’s legal costs are to be paid by the licencee. In addition, the Council will be protected as the licence will be drafted by Legal Services.
Alternative options considered
1. Grant a new access licence for the land at Oaktree Close
2. Decline to grant a new licence
