Grant a licence to use the land for a community event on 10 and 12 May 2025.

Reasons for the decision

The event organiser has approached officers to run the event, which is supported by the Town Council. The event is free to enter and offers a range of community, charity, local interest and some commercial (food and drink) stalls. The organiser is paying a fee of £550 to use the land as well as a deposit of £1000. They are also paying the Council’s legal costs. The details and sums associated with the event have been approved by the Head of Environmental and Neighborhood Services.

·       Grant the proposed licence.

·       Consider some other use on the land.
