Decision

That the Council will enter into the Data Sharing Agreement to ensure the safe and legally compliant sharing of information moving toward Local Government Reorganisation and Devolution.

Reasons for the decision

Data Sharing Agreements that will allow the safe, legal and confidential disclosure of information 1 - between the Warwickshire Councils and 2 - their project partner.

This is required as part of Local Government Reorganisation and also required by the Government and as detailed within legislation. The Chief Executive is delegated to enter into such agreements within the Constitution.

Alternative options considered

1.   Agree to enter into the agreement.; or

2.   Decline to enter into the agreement.
