To award and enter into a contract with Just Solutions Group Ltd for cyclical works including bathroom and kitchen renewals to Stratford-on-Avon District Council owned temporary accommodation properties. The contract value is £57,679.15.

Reasons for the decision

Cyclical upgrades to Council-owned temporary accommodation properties are required. The works include bathroom and kitchen renewals and will help ensure that the properties remain fit for purpose and support compliance with the incoming Decent Homes Standard. A procurement process has been undertaken requiring three quotations in accordance with the Council’s Contract Standing Orders and a contractor selected following evaluation of submitted tenders.

Alternative options considered

1. Award the contract to the preferred bidder identified through the procurement process; or
2. Not proceed with the contract and undertake a further procurement exercise.

Option 1 was approved as it enables the required works to proceed and represents the preferred outcome following evaluation of submitted tenders.
