Purpose

Proposal for the Council to:

a)  consent to the making of a planning application; and

b) grant a licence for alterations for the works to be carried out in respect of the above applied-for planning permission.

Decision

That the Council give consent and grant the licence, as above.

Reasons for the decision

The Council’s tenant requires the consent and the licence to apply for planning permission and to enable works to be carried out.

The Council is being represented by Legal Services so its interests are protected and its costs are being covered by the tenant.

Alternative options considered

• Agree to give consent for the tenant to make a planning application and grant the licence for works; or
• Decline to grant the above.
