The Strategy and Resources Committee decided to recommend approval of the revised Housing Revenue Account budget for 2024/25 and the original budget for 2025/26. This included approving the movement to and from HRA balances and capital reserves, and the inclusion of the HRA Capital Programme for 2024/25 to 2028/29 in the Council's Capital Programme. From 1 April 2025, social rents and affordable rents will increase by 2.7%, garage rents will increase by 2.7%, landlord service charges will be as set out in Appendix A, and shared ownership rents will increase as set out in each lease.
