Purpose

To enable the council to continue to deliver its new affordable homes programme (Council Plan Aim : H1A.1), it is necessary to enter into a contract with a building contractor . Speller Metcalfe were procured by the council to deliver 3 of the council's new homes site, now in construction, through the Procure Partnerships Framework. The initial tender included the option to add this site into the programme, subject to the bid demonstrating value for money. This has been confirmed by the council's Employer's Agent and approval to enter into a contract with Speller Metcalfe has been given.

To appoint Speller Metcalfe as the Principal Contractor for the construction of 7 affordable homes
