Purpose

Dewatering is one of the key projects for the M5 Crossing Project. Pump Supplies were the highest scoring tender submission and have been awarded the contract following the SDC procurement process and evaluation methodology.

Decision

Authorise the issue of the Dewatering Contract to Pump Supplies Ltd following SDC procurement process.

Reasons for the decision

The Strategic Leadership Team have been kept updated on the M5 Crossing Project.

Alternative options considered

There is no alternative option. The M5 Crossing project has been has been approved by the CCC Project Board. SDC as Accountable Body are responsible for delivering the project. Not awarding this contract will require for the M5 Crossing Project to be placed on hold.
