Purpose

The existing Design Contract with Crouch Waterfall was not formally signed and sealed. This is now being addressed through a Deed of Variation (prepared by Anthony Collins LLP) and this has been accepted by Crouch Waterfall. Approval is hereby sought to sign and seal this Deed of Amendment needs.

Decision

Authorise for the Deed of Variation with Crouch Waterfall to be signed and sealed.

Alternative options considered

If the Deed of Variation is not signed then this will place additional risk on the Council. There is no alternative option.
