About
The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee represents local communities and engages residents in decision-making for its geographical area. It considers and makes decisions on local issues, monitors local service performance (excluding planning and licensing), and scrutinises services to ensure they align with council values and budgets.
The committee allocates public realm and Local Transport Fund budgets, as well as Section 106 monies. It also approves contentious traffic management schemes, consults on parking controls, and makes recommendations to other council committees on local services. The committee engages with residents on commissioning cycles and community safety concerns.
