Sutton Council approved recommendations on 17/07/2023. The Council resolved to launch a local investigation into sewage dumping impacts through its Scrutiny Committee and call on the Government to reform water companies. The Council also agreed to summon a senior representative from Thames Water to account for investigation findings and host a multi-agency summit.
