The Governance & Audit Committee of Swansea Council noted the Audit Wales Review of Recruitment and Retention: Council Response and Progress Update on 07 October 2026. The committee noted the findings of the review and the Council's response, and that the Workforce Transformation Board will oversee delivery of agreed actions. Planned actions include establishing an enhanced recruitment and retention dashboard, developing a more structured employee engagement framework, and introducing a recruitment and retention benefits and evaluation framework.
