The Governance & Audit Committee of Swansea Council noted the update on absence management and agency worker audits on 07 October 2026. Recommendations were approved. The council will continue to monitor the consistent application of the revised Management of Absence Policy, manager training completion levels, and the timeliness, recording, and consistency of long-term absence management.
