Purpose

The Governance & Audit Committee is accountable to and provides assurance to Council over risk management, internal control and corporate governance. To demonstrate accountability a Governance & Audit Committee Annual Report is presented to Council.This report describes the assurance that has been gained by the Audit Committee from various sources during 2023/24 and also outlines a number of other areas where briefings have been provided to the Committee.
