About

The Education Attainment Improvement Board is responsible for ensuring a coordinated approach to children and young people's progression through education and into further opportunities. It shapes and tests educational policy, aiming to equip young people with skills for the labour market and increase success in further education and employment. The board monitors school performance, uses inspection data to review educational quality, and supports integrated working for vulnerable children. It also addresses school place demand and ensures academies and free schools align with the borough's vision for young people.
