Purpose
The Crisis and Resilience Fund had been provided to Local Authorities to provide a safety net for low-income households who encountered a financial shock and to invest in activity that builds individual and community financial resilience to enable households to better deal with crises in the longer term, reducing crisis need. This report sets out how the grant would be utilised to provide the schemes objectives.
Decision
RESOLVED
(i) That the proposals in relation to the Crisis and Resilience Fund as set out in the report be Approved.
(ii) That the Housing Payments Policy be Approved.
(iii) That the Crisis Payments Policy be Approved.
(iv) That the Strategic Director of Housing, Environment and Estates, or Assistant Director of Environment, as necessary in their absence, in consultation with the Executive Member of Finance and Resources, have delegated authority to approve additional allocation of year 1 funds or adjust spending within existing programmes, within overall budget and to approve any CRF funded grants and contracts
