Purpose

The proposal is for amendments to be made to the Directorships held by GMPF staff, as per Appendix A – the Register.  This is due to Alex Jones (AJ) giving notice that he will be leaving GMPF on the 10 July 2026.

AJ will be replaced by Kevin Etchells.

Decision

Changes to Director appointments held by GMPF staff were given Approval in relation to GMPF investments set out in Appendix A – the register, and more particularly Alexander Michael Jones who is a director on Trafford Property GP Limited to be replaced by Kevin Etchells subject to satisfactory completion of the relevant documentation and before the end of June 2026 when Alex departs GMPF.

Reasons for the decision

The Director appointments held by GMPF staff are regularly reviewed and updated as part of our governance procedures.  Due to staff changes, it is necessary to amend and appoint replacements.

The Chief Executive of the Fund has delegated authority to sign off decisions of this nature.  To note to be reviewed annually or as and when required taking into account that the Fit for the Future Proposals mean that the management of investments assets will transfer. 

Alternative options considered

The alternative option is to not make any changes.  This would not be an acceptable option from a governance perspective.
