Purpose

At the Annual Meeting of Council on 26 May 2026 the majority of appointments to various bodies were agreed with following being agreed:

 (i) That the political proportionality and the recommendations set out in the tabled report be agreed with appointments to Outside Bodies being dealt with under delegated authority to the Executive Leader and Chief Executive and in consultation with all Group Leaders to fill any outstanding vacancies not filled at this Council meeting.

(ii) That delegated authority be given to the Chief Executive to make appointments to reflect the Reform Group Leaders wishes on the various bodies listed that require political balance. 

Decision

That it be DETERMINED that the attached scheduled of appointments is agreed in accordance with the wishes of Group Leaders for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year or until Council determines that any changes should be made be agreed.
