Purpose

This report follows on from the previous Executive Decision on 19 March 2026 (Approval of Grant Awards for the national wraparound childcare programme) and presents the details of subsequently awarded grants to Wraparound Childcare providers for approval.

Decision

That Approval be given for the grant allocation to Stalyhill Junior School for Wraparound Childcare totalling £0.073m and entry into an appropriate grant agreement for that sum with the school.

Reasons for the decision

Approval of the recommendations ensures the Council is compliant in the application of the Wraparound Childcare Grant in line with grant conditions. 

Alternative options considered

The Council is required to make arrangements to distribute the grant according to the grant conditions, therefore there is not an alternative option.
