Purpose

The condition of the roof, window and pointing has deteriorated at Milton St John Primary School.  As such, a design has been completed, and works are to be undertaken by Halestone Restoration following a competitive tender process through Star Procurement.

A mini competition has taken place and Graham and Sibbald have been appointed to provide technical compliance on the scheme.

Decision

(i)                That approval is given for a contract awarded to Halestone Restoration Ltd for the external works to Milton St John Primary School.

(ii)             Graham and Sibbald are appointed to provide technical compliance.

(iii)           The Capital Projects team are to manage the project within the approved budget including any scheme contingency spend.

Reasons for the decision

A contract Award for External works at Milton St John Primary School was given approval.

Alternative options considered

To not award the contract or to appoint a different contractor.
