Purpose

The Council has selected Planit IE to lead on the detailed designs for the delivery of the medium-term projects identified in the Denton Public Realm Masterplan, approved by Tameside Executive Cabinet in December 2025.  The report details the procurement process carried out via the Constellia procurement framework and reasoning for the selection.

Decision

That approval is given for Planit to be appointed via the Constellia Framework to develop the designs for, and oversee the delivery of, the medium-term projects identified in the Denton Public Realm Masterplan, funded by the Destination Denton Levelling Up Fund grant.

To not award the contract and undergo another procurement exercise to appoint an alternative supplier.
