That approval is given as part of the 3% Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund (GMPVF) allocation approved by Policy and Development Working Group in June 2026, to approve a capita sum for demolition and remediation ahead of a residential development.

Reasons for the decision

This report is to seek approval for a capital sum to be approved to proceed with a site remediation and demolition of a site owned by GMPF ahead of a residential site delivery (subject to following approvals being obtained).
