Purpose

This report seeks approval to allocate up to £0.113m of School Condition Allocation to Russell Scott Primary School via budget virement of existing School Condition Grant funding.

Decision

(i)                That Approval be granted for a budget virement of £0.113m from unallocated School Condition Grant to Russell Scott Primary School.

(ii)             That Approval is granted to the works being completed as part of the Department for Education (DfE) School rebuilding works, with payment to made to the DfE on receipt of an invoice.

Reasons for the decision

The proposed works are essential to maintain appropriate safeguarding arrangements and ensure the safety of pupils, staff and visitors throughout the construction period and beyond.
