Award of funding from the Dfe for work to improve GLD in early years

Decision

That it be DETERMINED that the funding of up to £141,023 is accepted from DfE for the delivery of “Making it Real” to a range of primary schools in the current and next academic years in accordance with the grant conditions, and to support improved Good level of Development (GLD) in the Early years and Foundation across Tameside subject to the necessary due diligence from finance and legal.

Reasons for the decision

The report describes the Priority Education Investment Area (PEIA) initiative from the DfE and the proposed grant within the PEIA for Tameside to commission and lead Making It Real.
