Purpose

To proceed to referendum on the Tatsfield
Neighbourhood Plan further to the recommendations set out in the
Examiner’s Report. The Neighbourhood Plan would be used to
assess planning applications within the Tatsfield area should it be
successful at the referendum.

The Planning Policy Committee previously agreed that this decision
could be taken by delegated authority.

Although the Council have 5 weeks from receipt of the
Examiner’s Report to make the decision, the Steering Group
are keen for the referendum to take place on 2 May 2024 alongside
the Local Elections. This requires an imminent decision.
