Purpose

Smallfield has historically suffered with flooding. Surrey County Council Flooding team have funding for a flood alleviation scheme at the playing fields owned by Tandridge District Council. There is currently a Village Green designation on part of the grounds, which is needed for the flood works, and this designation needs amending.

Decision

R E S O L V E D:

1. That an application be submitted to change part of the registered area of the village green to another part of the same playing field, in accordance with the arrangements set out in the officer's report, in order to progress the implementation of flood measures.
