The Overview and Scrutiny Committee 2 (until May 2024) was responsible for monitoring and scrutinising the Council's performance across various areas, including economy, business, tourism, planning, corporate resources, and sport, recreation, and culture.
Its role involved checking the activities of the Executive through a 'call-in' process, reviewing policy formulation and implementation, conducting quality reviews of policy development, and scrutinising external bodies and agencies that impact the Teignbridge District.
