The Joint Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee is responsible for scrutinising health services that affect the wider health economy across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. It is made up of elected members and co-opted members from the health scrutiny committees of both Shropshire Council and Telford and Wrekin Council. The committee specifically focuses on changes and re-configuration of acute services provided by the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. Meetings are held in public, but public participation is not permitted.
